Subscription and Billing Terms

Last updated: 2026-10-19

Subscription and Billing Terms

These Subscription and Billing Terms (the "Subscription Terms") apply when a paid subscription to the BrandsSynergy platform (a "Subscription") is purchased, started as a free trial, or used. They form an agreement between Data Craft Nordics AB and the business on whose behalf the Subscription is purchased ("you" or the "Customer").

By starting a Subscription, including a free trial, you agree to these Subscription Terms. If you have signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement applies where it differs from these Subscription Terms. Personal data processed for billing is described in our Billing and Payments Privacy Notice.

1. Who Can Subscribe

Subscriptions are offered to businesses, such as brands and agencies, for use in the course of their business. They are not offered to consumers.

A Subscription belongs to a workspace. Only an owner of the workspace can purchase a Subscription, and the person who purchases it confirms that they are authorized to do so on behalf of the Customer.

Creator accounts use the platform free of charge and are not billed.

2. Plans and Prices

  • A Subscription is billed monthly or yearly, as selected at checkout.
  • One Subscription covers every member of the workspace, up to the member limit that applies to the workspace.
  • The features, price, and currency that apply are shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay.
  • Any owner of the workspace can manage the Subscription, including its payment method, invoices, and cancellation. Other members cannot.

3. Payment

Payments are processed by our payment service provider, Stripe, through Stripe-hosted checkout and billing pages. By starting a Subscription, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for the Subscription fee and any applicable taxes at the start of each billing period.

We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code. Invoices and receipts are available in the billing portal, which workspace owners can open from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. You are responsible for keeping your payment method and billing details, including company name, billing address, and VAT or tax identification number, accurate and up to date.

4. Taxes

Unless stated otherwise, prices are exclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes. Where we are required to charge tax, it is added to the amount charged and shown on your invoice. Where you provide a valid VAT or tax identification number and the reverse charge mechanism applies, you are responsible for accounting for the tax.

5. Automatic Renewal

Your Subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for a further period of the same length, and your payment method is charged for each renewal, until the Subscription is cancelled. The next renewal date is shown in Settings → Billing.

6. Free Trials

Each new workspace gets a 14-day free trial when it is created. No payment method is needed for this trial, nothing is charged, and it does not turn into a paid Subscription by itself. When it ends, access stops until a workspace owner starts a Subscription. One free trial is available per workspace, and we may end a free trial early if it is misused.

If you start a Subscription during the free trial, the first payment is taken when the free trial would have ended (or at least two days after you subscribe, if the trial has less time left).

We may also offer a trial through a trial code. The length of that trial is shown before you start it. A payment method is required to start it, and you are not charged during it. Unless you cancel before it ends, the Subscription continues as a paid Subscription when it ends, and your payment method is charged at that time. If you cancel during that trial, access continues until it ends and nothing is charged.

Trial codes may be limited to specific customers, may expire, and have no cash value. We may refuse or withdraw a trial code that has expired or has been misused.

7. Discount Codes

We may offer discount codes, which can be entered at checkout. A discount applies only as described for that code, for example for a set number of billing periods, after which the regular price applies. Discount codes have no cash value and cannot be applied to payments already made.

8. Cancellation

A workspace owner can cancel the Subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: the workspace keeps access until then, and no further charges are made.

If a workspace with an active Subscription is deleted, including when its last member deletes their account, the Subscription is cancelled immediately. Access ends at that time, and no refund is given for the remainder of the billing period.

9. Refunds

Fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused time, or periods in which the workspace was not used, except where a refund is required by mandatory law or we have agreed otherwise in writing.

10. Failed Payments and Loss of Access

If a payment fails, Stripe retries the charge over a period of time. The workspace keeps access while the payment is retried, and a notice is shown in Settings → Billing so that an owner can update the payment method. If the payment still cannot be collected, the Subscription may be cancelled or put on hold.

When a Subscription ends, is cancelled, or is on hold, the workspace loses access to paid features. This does not delete the workspace or its data: owners can still open account settings to fix a payment, subscribe again, manage members, request a copy of their data, or delete the account.

11. Free and Discounted Access

We may, at our discretion, give a workspace free or discounted access, for example during a pilot or because the workspace existed before paid Subscriptions were introduced. Where free access has a stated end date, it ends on that date, and continued access then requires a Subscription. Where it has no stated end date, we may end it by giving the workspace's owners at least 30 days' notice.

12. Price Changes

We may change Subscription prices. We will notify workspace owners at least 30 days before a new price applies to an existing Subscription. The new price applies from the first renewal after that notice period, and you can cancel before then to avoid it.

13. Changes to These Subscription Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms. If a change materially affects existing Subscriptions, we will notify workspace owners at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the change is required by law. If you continue a Subscription after the change takes effect, the updated Subscription Terms apply.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Subscription Terms are governed by Swedish law, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sweden, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

15. Contact

Questions about billing, invoices, or these Subscription Terms can be sent to info@brandssynergy.com.
